CIMT 512 - Fall 2009
Literature for Young People gives an overview of the role of literature in society and its impact on supporting and extending lifelong learning. Emphasis is on developmental strategies that enable the reader to create, critique, discuss, and enjoy literature including a wide variety of genres. The respect for diversity in society, language, cultural, and ethnic customs is also emphasized. Coursework for CIMT 512 includes the midterm exam and a proficiency essay, found below the course syllabus.
